Dina R. Avila Photography - About

Dina R. Avila is a freelance photojournalist whose work has appeared in North Hawaii News, West Hawaii Today and Better Roads Magazine. She is currently based in Portland, Oregon. Dina graduated with honors from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas where she was named by her professors as "Photographer of the Year." She has photographed over seventy weddings, including musical celebrity Jimmy Vaughan's. She was selected as a finalist for the Eddie Adams workshops, and continues her passionate documentation of people and cultures from the Azores to Paris, Hawaii to the Pacific Northwest.
